Weekend SNG's

I played in about 10 (play money) SNG's over the weekend and overall did pretty well. I made about 2.067 for every 1 credit I put in so I can't really complain about that. More importantly, I have learned of a big hole in my game and am in the process of analyzing the situation. What I have discovered is that I am a very poor heads up player. In the past month or so, in the 7 tournaments that I have gotten into a heads up situation, I have managed to win only 1. The odds on that show me that it's not just the "luck of the cards" but something which I need to work on.

So over the weekend, I ran out and picked up Harrington on Hold'em Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments Volume 2 Endgame as it has a specific section just on heads up play. After reading that section, I have gathered together all of my hand histories and am in the process of isolating just the heads up sections to compare my hands to the suggestions in Harrington's Book. I should have the analysis done in a few days or so, and I'll be sure to post the results when I get them.

Thanks to the guys at Card Club on Lord Admiral Radio for not only reading my letter out loud, but pimping my humble blog. I'm highly honored. I also created an account at the Card Club Network so I look forward to poking around there and seeing what they have to offer there.
